Head Volleyball Coach - The Head Coach promotes an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Head Coach provides leadership and supervision for team and individual sports, and works closely with the staff and administration of Unified School District 446. Head Wrestling Coach - The Head Coach promotes an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. Assistant Track Coach - The Assistant Coach will assist the Head Coach in promoting an appreciation of physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship. The Assistant Coach assists in providing leadership and supervision for team and individual sports, and works closely with the other staff and administration of Unified School District 446. Payroll/Benefits Manager - This position will distribute payroll checks, earnings statements and tax information. Provides new hire and benefits orientation to new employees. Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws, including affirmative action and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO). Ensure employees follow policies and procedures. ESOL Classroom/Teacher Aide - 10 month full time position at Independence Middle School . The ESOL classroom/teacher aide will assist the Instructor in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. To accomplish these tasks, the ESOL classroom/teacher aide works closely with the staff and administration of Unified School District 446. This position does not require applicant to be bilingual. Full Time Food Service Staff - Full time food service staff position is a 10 month position and the hours are 6:30 am to 3:00 pm - Monday through Friday. Paraprofessional - 10 month full time position- The classroom paraprofessional assists the Instructor in creating a positive learning environment to facilitate the personal, social, and intellectual development of students. Bus Driver - The Bus Driver provides clean, safe, and reliable transportation to ensure that students enjoy the full advantage of school district programs and activities. To accomplish these goals the Bus Driver must work closely with staff and administration of Unified School District 446. This is a 10 month position. Bus Monitor - Part time position. The hours are 6am-8am and 3pm-5pm and this is a 10 month position. Candidates may obtain an application below or pick one up from the Board of Education Office, 517 N. 10th, Independence, Kansas. 

Substitute Aide - USD #446 is hiring individuals with 48 college hours to work as substitute aides.  This is an as needed position.  This person will fill in for aide positions as assigned and during the absence of the full time aide.  Candidates may obtain an application below or pick one up from the Board of Education Office, 517 N. 10th, Independence, Kansas. 

Substitute Custodian - This would be an on-call position.
