On Friday, April 19th, Eisenhower Kindergarten will be hosting PreK Visitation Day (Kindergarten Roundup).
Students currently attending Riley Early Learning Center will attend with their class during the school day. Future Kindergarten students that do not attend Riley are invited to come with their parent(s) to an open session from 4:00 - 5:00pm.
Our Kindergarten Staff is excited to meet next year's students. They will be doing activities with students in their classrooms and will give them a tour of the building.
All students will leave with a packet full of valuable information to prepare for Kindergarten next Fall.
During the Open Session, parents will be asked to complete an online parent survey in a separate area while their child participates in the activities.
The survey is the Ages & Stages survey (ASQ). This is required by the state of Kansas for all incoming kindergarten students. Previously, this survey was given during district registration in August, but this year we have permission to gather this information in the spring so that we can better use it to prepare for next year's students. (Riley parents will be given access to the survey through the Riley staff)
