Independence Middle School -

Shawn O'Kane is the the teacher of the month. He seems to do everything. Obviously he teaches PE, but he also gives countless hours coaching students here at IMS and at IHS all year long. He is very organized and dependable. The students and staff respect him and students improve under his tutelage. He is firm, but fair with students and we are lucky that he wears so many hats here at IMS.
